Shop-floor and process-cooling control in one plant
Cell status and coolant temperature reach the shift room, and the alarm arrives before the line stands still.Read case study
Energy
Generation, load and backup on one electrical-room screen
The electrical room sees roof generation, incomer load, and whether the generator actually reached voltage.Read case studyBefore this project we heard about a stopped cell only when an operator phoned, and about hot coolant only when someone walked through the service room. Cell status, coolant temperature and the main incomer now sit on one screen in the shift room. The alarm arrives while there is still something to do, and a walk across the floor is for the work, not for finding the fault.

Level, pressure and valves at a fuel terminal
The control room sees level, pressure and valve state, and a high level closes the inlet without a walk around the farm.Read case study

Fans and sump pumps along a road tunnel
The portal control room sees the fans and the sump levels, and starts a pump without a drive into the tunnel.Read case studyLevel used to be read on a local gauge during a round, and high level was a lamp we were supposed to see while we were out there. Level, pressure and valve state are now on the screen in the control room, outside the area. If a tank reaches high level, the inlet valve closes. We go to the tank that called, instead of walking the farm to find out.

AgricultureIrrigation from the farm office, not a round of reservoirs
Low pressure on a line calls the office with the branch name, and the drive goes there rather than to every reservoir.Read case studyFood & Beverage
Blend-hall temperature and level on one screen
Batch temperature and tank level are on the screen, and the filler is not called if the pasteurizer leaves its band.Read case studyTwice a day we drove between the reservoirs to open a valve and read a meter. A burst at night was found in the morning, when the reservoir had already dropped. Flow and pressure are now on the screen in the office, and a low-pressure alarm names the branch. We drive to the site that called. At night someone hears about it before the reservoir is empty.

Solvent transfer that stops on a high level
A high level stops the transfer pump and closes the inlet, without a local pushbutton inside the farm.Read case studyPharma & Health
A purified-water loop and suite HVAC on one trend
A drift in conductivity or temperature alarms during the shift, not at the next line on the paper log.Read case studyTransfer used to start from a local pushbutton, and high level was a lamp inside the farm. Two pumps could run to the same tank. Level is now on the screen in the control room, a high level stops the pump, and only one pump is allowed. We can see which tank is filling without going into the farm.

A print line that stops together when one machine jams
A jam at the sheeter holds the press and the call to the dryer, and the screen says which machine stopped.Read case study
Water / wastewaterLift stations and outlet chlorine on one screen
A high wet-well calls with the station name while it can still be pumped down, and low chlorine at the outlet raises an alarm.Read case studyEach machine used to stop only itself. A jam at the sheeter did not hold the press, and sheets piled on the floor. Dryer temperature was a local controller with no alarm in the aisle. A stop downstream now holds the press, and the screen says which machine. We walk to that machine instead of picking sheets off the floor.
